You will be interacting with customers, responding to their needs. Gather customer’s information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms. You will follow up and make scheduled callbacks to customers where necessary. You will help build, maintain and troubleshoot the client’s infrastructure. You will be working alongside other engineers to ensure highest levels of client service delivery
Job Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 / 3 IT support to End-Users & Infrastructure Devices
- Deploy, Manage and Maintain servers and networks (L3)
- Troubleshooting Network and Server devices (Active Directory, GPOs, OUs experiences)
- Producing Reports to clients during Onboarding / Maintenance
- Ensuring Clients’ System Documentation is accurate and up to date
- Maintain accurate ticketing processes and asset management tracking records
- Provide emergency requests / Project deployment outside of business hours
- Handle hardware and software sourcing / purchasing / liasing
- Write and update technical documentation for end users and the IT team
- Document processes, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with IT policies and ITIL best practices
- Monitor and manage the security of IT assets, data, network access, and backup systems, and supervise audits to verify security.
- Ensure the availability of application systems to support business operations and measure IT performance across various domains.
- Research and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and manage the IT budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding IT processes.
- Recommend improvements for the organization’s IT systems.
- Implement enhancements or modifications to IT tools and processes
- Liaising with 3rd party vendors
Job Requirement
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing IT support in a corporate environment
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10, MS Office, Windows Server (ADFS/LDAP/WSUS) in a business environment
- Proficient in basic Windows desktop and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- During assigned office hours be in work teams call at all times. (for internal coordination)
- Ability to read and follow instructions (e.g. only applications through the below form will be reviewed)
- Certifications like ITILv4 and/or CCNA will be an advantage
- Highly disciplined and productive when working independently
- Takes initiative to identify gaps and develop solutions to close the gaps
- Good in follow up and follow through to complete tasks
- Powershell / CMD Line Scripting
- Willingness to participate in scheduled standby duties on a rotating basis
Other Considerations for this Work from Home Job Role
- Internet Speed Test above 500mbps
- English Speaking required for internal meetings
- Typing English with little to no spelling errors (grammer/vocab mistakes are ok)
- Some experience with managing on-site personnels for scheduling
